2
00:00:17,000 –> 00:00:26,000
Welcome back to the football referee with Emma Hickins, Trevor Gear and Fermi Madarilla.
3
00:00:26,000 –> 00:00:40,000
Never a penalty. We can at some point just talk about that because to me it was one of the worst, if not probably the worst, VAR decision.
4
00:00:40,000 –> 00:00:48,000
I’ve ever seen. Anyway, we can come back to that at some point. But yeah, so Palace tomorrow night, second leg of the semifinal.
5
00:00:48,000 –> 00:00:59,000
If we go through, if we win that, if we go through to the final, that will be in the Leipzig, I think on the 27th of May in Leipzig in Germany.
6
00:00:59,000 –> 00:01:06,000
So yeah, it’ll be great for Palace if we do get there and eventually win the year of the conference league.
7
00:01:06,000 –> 00:01:14,000
That will be an incredible 12 months of Oliver Glasner with the FA Cup, the community shield and God willing.
8
00:01:14,000 –> 00:01:22,000
The European conference league, that will be an incredible 12 months for Palace and for the supporters.
9
00:01:22,000 –> 00:01:26,000
I’ll tell you what, I will personally be celebrating with Palace.
10
00:01:26,000 –> 00:01:31,000
I will. I will. Yeah, I just won.
11
00:01:31,000 –> 00:01:43,000
Because when Palace was robbed of that FA Cup, the Europa promotion that was supposed to get.
12
00:01:43,000 –> 00:01:50,000
I felt really, I felt it wasn’t a good feeling. I don’t like injustice.
13
00:01:50,000 –> 00:01:58,000
So for you to then get that Europa, that’s what I’m really, I’m really rooting for Palace.
14
00:01:58,000 –> 00:02:06,000
Anyway, we’ll see how we go. We’ll see how we go. But I just hope tomorrow night.
15
00:02:06,000 –> 00:02:13,000
The whole of Palace scales through. Now this one is Harry Maguire.
16
00:02:13,000 –> 00:02:20,000
So Harry Maguire is willing to accept a big pay cut.
17
00:02:20,000 –> 00:02:28,000
Right. Is willing to accept a big pay cut. So he can stay up Manchester United.
18
00:02:28,000 –> 00:02:36,000
Now he said it previously that he’s willing to accept a pay cut.
19
00:02:36,000 –> 00:02:45,000
Now this time he’s willing to accept a big pay cut to stay a Manchester United.
20
00:02:45,000 –> 00:02:51,000
Now if you was Carrick or maybe Carrick’s not a decision maker at this point.
21
00:02:51,000 –> 00:03:00,000
But if you was at the helm of decision making, Manchester United, would you keep him?
22
00:03:00,000 –> 00:03:07,000
Me personally, I probably wouldn’t know. I think he’s had the best days.
23
00:03:07,000 –> 00:03:10,000
I’ve said this before. I think he’s had his best days. He’s a good defender.
24
00:03:10,000 –> 00:03:17,000
He may well be in the World Cup squad. Whether he’ll be first choice to play, I don’t know.
25
00:03:17,000 –> 00:03:23,000
No, I think he’s given Manchester United excellent service over a good number of years.
26
00:03:23,000 –> 00:03:28,000
But I think, yeah, I mean it says something that he will be prepared to take a pay cut.
27
00:03:28,000 –> 00:03:32,000
But that’s a good thing if you like that he wants to stay there.
28
00:03:32,000 –> 00:03:35,000
But it also probably reflects that he’s not…
29
00:03:35,000 –> 00:03:39,000
Well, let me take a short break now. The football referee about shortly.
